How hospitality pricing works
Everything you need to know about the price of a Premium Hospitality package on SpareSpot, in one place.
What's in a hospitality package
A hospitality package is more than a match or event seat. Each listing has a “What’s included” section that sets out exactly what you get, for example:
- your seat or area at the venue
- food, from street food to a sit-down meal
- drinks, where the package includes them
- extras such as a programme, a guest speaker or lounge access
What’s included varies from package to package, so always check the listing before you book. Packages are supplied through our trade partner, with full handover.
What “per spot, all-in” means
Hospitality prices are shown as £X per spot, all-in.
- A spot is one person’s place in the package. Booking for four? That’s four spots.
- All-in means the price you see includes the 12% booking protection fee. The number on the listing is the number you pay per spot.
Approved sellers set their own price for their own events and packages.
What you'll see at checkout
At checkout we show your total broken down into the spot price and the 12% booking protection fee. Together they add up to the all-in price you saw on the listing, so there are no surprises.
Some packages also accept offers. If a listing shows “Make an Offer” and you make one instead of booking at the listed price, the 12% booking protection fee is added at checkout if your offer is accepted.
You pay securely in the app via Stripe, and every booking is covered by Buyer Protection.
Availability and how it's kept up to date
- We check package availability with our partner several times a day.
- When a package sells out, the listing is paused so you can’t book something that isn’t there.
- The number of spots shown on a listing may be capped, so there can be more available than the number you see. If you need more spots than are shown, message the seller.
After you book, the seller sends your booking reference, e-ticket or access details by in-app message.
Changes and cancellations
Hospitality bookings follow the same rules as every booking on SpareSpot:
- Cancelling within 24 hours. You can cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund, as long as fulfilment hasn’t begun.
- If the event is cancelled or postponed, SpareSpot may mark the listing as cancelled. All confirmed bookings are then refunded in full automatically and you’ll be emailed. You don’t need to do anything.
- If something isn’t right, message the seller from your booking first. If that doesn’t sort it, use “Report a problem” in My Bookings or email support@sparespot.co.uk. Your dispute window runs until 48 hours after the event for transactions under £100, or 72 hours for £100 or more.
- Not covered: change-of-mind cancellations after a spot has been delivered as described, or anything arranged outside SpareSpot.
Full details are in our Buyer Protection, Disputes & Refunds and Terms of Sale.
FAQ
Is the price per person?
Yes. Every hospitality price is per spot, and one spot is one person’s place in the package.
Will the price go up at checkout?
No. The listed price already includes the 12% booking protection fee. Checkout just shows you the breakdown.
Can I book just one spot?
Usually, yes. The listing shows how many spots you can book. If a package can only be booked in a set group, such as a whole box, the listing says so.
Why has a package disappeared?
It has probably sold out. Listings are paused as soon as a package sells out, and they come back if more spots become available.
How do I get my tickets or access details?
The seller sends your booking reference, e-ticket or access details by in-app message after payment.
Can I pay outside the app?
No, and please don’t. Keep payment and messages on SpareSpot so you’re covered by Buyer Protection. If anyone asks you to pay by bank transfer or outside the app, report it straight away.
Who do I contact with a question?
Message the seller from the listing, or email support@sparespot.co.uk.
