SpareSpot ("we", "us") operates a UK peer-to-peer marketplace for buying and selling spare spots at social events. This policy explains how we handle your personal data in line with UK GDPR.

2. Data we collect

Account details (name, email), profile information, listing and booking activity, messages, and payment information processed securely via our payment provider. We do not store full card details.

3. How we use your data

To operate the marketplace, process payments and booking protection, facilitate messaging between buyers and sellers, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. The listing price is paid to the seller and SpareSpot retains a booking protection fee. Your funds are held securely until a spot is confirmed.

5. Sharing

We share limited data with payment processors and service providers only as needed to run the service. We never sell your personal data.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data at any time, including via the in-app account deletion option. Contact privacy@sparespot.co.uk for requests.
